I'd like to apply as a Chinese to English translator ^.^
but I can only really do simplified at the moment... I can do traditional, but i have a lot of difficulty if its not a very clear raw >.<

Muda is a very awesome group to join and test your wings! I should know, I've only been here roughly three months (this includes my entire time in the scanlating community, period) and I felt like I fit in practically immediately.

As for a project suggestion (since you mentioned work doesn't get "handed out" per say =P)
i heard Celestrial Destroyer was a really good series, and heard its releases were either really slow, or just plain non existant anymore (tho mangaupdates says no ones released anything). i have the full color raws, so it may be hard for the editors tho (and some of the text would be hard on my part as well >.<)
but if anyone else is interested, i would like to give it a shot =P

We have a couple of people All over North America so the time zone thing shouldn't be much of a problem. I thought the same thing when i got here as well, Ive been here for about two months now Prob the newest staff member. No scratch that I'm not anymore. you prob will Be . Celestial Destroyer, the name alone sounds interesting. We have plenty of cleaners around here, so if you want to make it a project don't be afraid to ask for anyone's help. I'm sure if they have the time they will oblige.

Well, if you have the raws, and you provide the translations, we'll work on it for sure. We're getting new recruits every week and they don't have anything to put their teeth in... so we should have this project be both a lesson for you as translation and for our guys to get better at what they do. But don't worry, we'd oversee their progress, we won't release anything bad... Since no one is working on it at the moment, we'd have plenty of time to make it look good!

So for now, we'll ask our other C-E translator to rate your work (I'm rooting for you!!!^_^) And we'll wait for pinky (kiba) to come back from his essay/university :p

First of all, welcome to Muda. I am glad to see that the team has already greeted you As you may already know by now, we are pretty crazy easy going here; after all, this is a hobbie, not a job xP

Unfortunately, we only have one CH translator round here, so you will have to wait until she reviews your script. It's of course a formality; I am pretty sure you will be made into a Muda scanlator in no time ^^

As for the proyect, it is nice to see you already have something in mind! We wouldn't want, by no means, to enforce something on someone if he/she doesn't like it. Heidenrex has been a little bored lately, so hopefully this new proyect will keep him entertained

I just read all 95 chaps of it and i must say it is quit the series. It's not listed in baka as being sscaned but i found this group that is doing it there last release was a couple of weeks ago. What chapter number are you on

I actually live in China (Shanghai time zone ish), and with my other group its a bit of a timezone issue >.<
and oops, didnt really do too much searching, so i didn't see that another group was working on it x.x and I hadn't started translating it yet either =P

but that doesn't really matter much, I'm pretty easy going with series at the moment. Right now I use it as a study tactic to improve my reading/writing in chinese, so having a diverse amount of genres/authors will help widen my vocabulary ^.^ I'll keep searching for a series as well, but if you guys have any you want to do I'd be willing to give it a try =P
