| Well then pacman, I have checked your work, and you still need some more practice before you can join the team ^^
First of all, the pages were not leveleled correctly. You can notice that by just looking at the uber-massive ammount of dust the whites have. Remember, the whites should be as white as possible!
Secondly, it doesn't seem that you used any denoiser at all, which is fundamental in the speed-scan business. You should download and use both Topaz Denoise and Topaz Clean.
Finally, and most importantly, the pages were not resized (and you also didn't burn the blacks). Remember that the pages should be 1300 px. high!
Taking all this in mind please review again Burn's tutorial about cleaning, and then give your pages another shot! ^^

| Both the Psyren page and the HnS page are better now! However, you still haven't used Topaz Clean. Also, it would be nice if you reduced your "reduce noise" values a little bit, since the (HnS) page ended up a little too blurred  Check this out http://forum.mangastream.com/showthread.php?t=4179It is a free online tuto that can get you started in using Topaz Clean. Watch it and then re-do those pages ^^ |

| You certainly improved. However, the pages are not quite right (but almost there!) Indeed, the difference between these cleans and the others is abismal xD So we will just make some fix here and there. First of all, you must make sure that this exact order is followed without being altered! *Sharpen the page [Use smart sharpen. You can even use the "automatic sharpening" option if you don't feel like playing with the values]. *1st leveling [ in Greyscale mode] *Turn the page to RGB *Denoise (use a supress noise value of around 1.25 more or less, and play with the rest. The noise doesn't need to be fully surpressed [ cuz that is impossible lol], and the page must be as less blurry as possible. In fact, you DON'T want the page to be blurry at all). *2nd leveling [ in RGB mode] *Crop & Burn (mucho important - you are forgetting to burn your pages, so be careful ) *Resize to 1300 px. *Topaz Clean the page (preferibly use the same exact values that are used in the video. If you don't remember them, watch the vid again and take note ] *Sharpen the page again (Use smart sharpen this time. Play with the values, we only want to fix the little blurriness Topaz Clean added to the page). *Save :3 And one thing that is absolutely indispensable: don't resize the page more than twice! These new pages you have just posted seem like they were resized more than twice, so be careful |
