I don't care... it's a pity that they put effort on the portables when it was the console that was working for them. They've lost the console war.

They still haven't reach 75% of the new gen console's potential (except for the wii)... nintendo is being a pussy for not having spent enough time/money to make the graphics good enough to compete with the others. Plus the only thing that was alluring to the wii was the motion sensoring game and now both the PS3 and the XBOX has better/cooler toys.

Nintendo is doomed imo. They need to inovate. And oooooh 3D... ain't going to change shit that it's a 4 inch screen. I've got a 46 inch full HD TV, playing on it almost gets me hard lol...

I'm a huge nintendo fan btw... still own my NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube and wii + gameboy, gameboy color and DS...

But I most probably won't buy that.

But that's just my 2 cents ^^.

The 3DS is so powerful that it isn't considered a handheld system like the rest, but as an actual console. The demo games have graphics that can go toe-to-toe with the 360 and has downloadable games from nintendo's handhelds!

but like he said, amazing graphics are wasted on the 4 inch screen.
as far as portables go, i like nintendo the best
but as for actually consoles, i'm still rooting for Playstation to stay in the game =)

Maybe. I'm still playing Halo Reach and Blacl Ops till the wee hours of the morning on my 360 or here on my phone.

@ loki i agree the hype is is going to kill them in sales when people realize it is not what they wanted 4 inches smh thats like haf my C*** size. I say not worth it. Though don't they already have 60 inch 3d TVs that i can play my Next gen system on already.

To spend that much time on a portable system is nice but ill take my psp any day over a DS. Don't get me wrong i have owned almost all portables from nintendo at some point in my life i just don't see this one taking flight. but if i run across a stolen off the shipping truck 3Ds Being sold by a cracked head on the street for less than half the price i will buy it and let you know how it turns out XDD

It doesn't, but you can download gameboy colour games, so I'm hoping I can migrate my pika chu from yellow to black.

but even if you download the gbc game, you'll still have to create a new game file.
that and if you are using your yellow game, i think they might have a code blocking you from trading it away.

But you can still get an awesome pikachu and I could breed it and then migrate it?
