About a month ago i bagan doing the test for mangastream, but i didnt want to apply for them, so i didnt send my application.I did both the tests but the second one isnt completly finished due to my fast change of opinion, but anyway here is the link for my reedrawings. http://www.mediafire.com/?juw51f7q167ha34If you think its worth something you can send me another test so i can do it. |

| I'm far from a pro on this, but I think the first page look pretty good ^^ The second one is, as you said, not done and therefore hard to say if it's good or not. It would be really nice to have the original pages so you know where the redrawn are. Here is a secret tip from me (I'm not sure if this is correct or not ^^) - Spoiler:
I always save redrawns as .psd (as you did) and then I have the original page in the background layer and do all my redrawings in layer 1/2. And then I don't flatten the image when I save... That way you can easy look how the page was before and after the redrawing.
As I said, I'm not a pro, I havn't even realesed something yet. but Kiba can tell what's good/bad about your pages once he log in, remember the timezones ~~ |

| Thanks for the tip, but now that i looked at my first redraw i saw some mistakes.I really did a half-assed job in my opinion, but well see what Kiba says. |

| Haha, don't worry. You didn't do a half-assed job The first one was pretty good for a first try (I mean, I had to look over the page carefully to notice the spot that had been redrawed); and the second one is just as Robler said I would need to see a completely redrawed page to actually check it out (btw, did you resize it? The greys look very smooth, and lack that characterisitic MS pattern; obviously due to a quality loss). As for the test you requested, I will just copy-paste the redrawer test I had given to another applicant "^^ - Quote :

The first one is the "normal difficulty" test, and the the other one is the "hard" test.
The main difference between both tests isn't the ammount of redraws they need; the catch is in the fact that, in the hard test, you can't resize the pages, because that would destroy the grey pattern (even if you resized thepage to whatever you wanted, and then resized the page back to itsoriginal size, that would also destroy the pattern).
Of course, you don't have to do both tests to pass. If you can manage to get the normal difficulty one correctly you will be in I am just putting the hard one as an example of what you may encounter when editing a "hard" chapter "^^
Luck! |

| Im gonna do them tommorow or the day after tommorow. I did resize because its really hard to do it if you look at it from far, i mean i almost never see the mouse on the screen when working with photoshop, left alone redraw it from that far, so i cant work without zooming. |

| Sorry about the delay. Had a very busy week ">.<
I am gonna check your page right now.
EDIT: My computer is giving me quite a headache; I think I got infected with a virus or some other shit, since a stupid system error keeps poping up :/ I have to leave the AVG scanning all the nigh, so I will comment your pages tomorrow (already downloaded the file). |

| Thanks Stasik ^^ Alright, lets see: the redrawing is indeed pretty good! (I only spot some mistakes here and there, but it doesn't matter much since the text will probably cover it when the page is TSed). However, I don't clean with that "smooth grey" style anymore, so I would have to see how you would handle a "patterned" redraw So, as the final task, can you redraw two pages of the "hard" test? Luck! PS: Please, upload the page in imageshack and post the link here once you are finished |

| Nah, its okey. I already checked the file Your pages are good, but I was expecting you to redraw the greys xD I mean, what you had to redraw in those pages were just lines, and redraws as easy as those are not very frequent. Can you submit a page where you redraw some greys? After that, you will be made a trainee ^^ |

| Would you explain what exactly is a "grey" because i don't know the terminology and nee to know what to do. I'm sure i sound like a total idiot, but i have no idea what it is. |

| Well, a section of the page that has grey of course! As you can see, manga pages are black and white, and they also have midtones (greys). Psyren's greys are patterned (the little squares that are all over the grey parts), and that's what makes them so difficult to redraw (and that's why I want you to learn how to handle them ) |

| If you wanna give up, then it's all cool (you can always come again when you feel like it ). However, I don't have any idea what you are talking about xD Why did you enter the "levels" section? Redrawing hasn't got anything to do with it xP |
