@bajuwa: Last year no school were cancelled. However, the teacher didn't come to school because it was too much snow x) My sisters spent 3 hours trying to come to school, and then her teacher (who live 30 min walk from the school) didn't come.

@Kiba. I've researched a bit of information myself about sister schools, and I know that Michigan has a few sister schools in Japan. But as for costs, yes it's expensive. But then again, anything over one thousand dollars is expensive to me.
