Mine for now:
I feel betrayed by my college. It's the last week of classes this quarter and what do I get? I had one 6 page synthesis essay and a science paper that I had to, and managed to finish Monday (today) I slept at 3 a.m. and felt like crap. Not to mention my math teacher adds to the agony: more homework. And lots of it. DX
And that synthesis essay still needs 2 more edits and it's due during FINALS; I did a crappy last minute job so it's probably necessary anyway. =_='


Well anyway, happy posting. I'll be wondering who goes to college.

I would love to talk here about college. Except I don't really have enough time to think of anything to say...

Anyway, what year are you in? I'm still a freshman in North seattle comm college. But I might transfer to UT Austin this fall. XD

why UT and not A&M?

i need to take the GRE...again.. but that language section noms my face >.<

I did say might. I'm still waiting for a reply from another 5 universities I applied to. XD

Maybe if I'm lucky, Stanford will take me in.

So you live in Texas? Is it hot there? And what's GRE for? I thought usually you take SAT for 4 year colleges.

GRE is for grad school. i gotta get me a real degree XD
oh geez ^^' i'm givin my age away =x

texas is unbearably hot in the.... most of the time XD there's liike 3 hours of snow on a good year and winter lasts a week. rest of the time its above 70. if you're in austin it'll be a dry heat.. but still, you'll know what its like to be in 100+ temps =p

i hope you get into a good school up north! XD (unless you're like me and freeze at 70 =p then tx is just fine)

Well, I'm a senior Mechanical Engineering major at Cooper Union (full name the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art).

...Tuition's free, and I'm even getting some scholarship grants, and I'm still too poor and work over 30 hours a week.

30 hours a week while studying?! That's harsh! D: I can't imagine how you manage to find the time to do anything. Best of luck to you.

But sure is nice to study for free. XD US schools are squeezing all the money out of international students. Our fees are like 10x the normal fees for local students.

Too broke? And I thought schools give out scholarships like there's no tomorrow (to citizens). Or maybe you flunked too many courses? ^^;; Or maybe your unluckiness extends to real life...

In the US typically 18+. I would say the majority of people in undergraduate work (getting a bachelors degree) are 18-24.

I dunno about other countries.
