What are your favorite Genres and/or Categories?


For me this thread pretty much explains why I started reading manga.

I'm fascinated by Yandere and Yangire characters but I soon came to realize that there was a lack of this category on anime so I turned to manga to fill the gap after I couldn't find anymore anime with those categories.

cute romancey shoujo without the super weak-minded girls that annoy me until I wanna punch babies.
adventure shounens with enough romance to cue "guy protects girl" scenes.
fantasy is welcome at all times x)

best case scenario:
fantasy shounen where the guy gets mortally wounded protecting the girl, cause a little emotional drama with it, but guy ends up being fine.
best manga ever = RAVE
