Surprise. Looks like the doctor ordered a second MRI scan!

As you may have heard, we now consider our brief battle against Mangacurse to be won. However, all three of our groups had so much fun on Friday that everyone wanted to do it again, and we just couldn't wait another week. At the Bakuman afterparty the gracious leadership of Muda Scantrad suggested that we permanently move HSDK, a series that they have been scanning for a long time, under the greater MRI umbrella.

It seemed like it was meant to be. The staff of I Eat Manga are huge fans of the series, and Red Hawk Scanlations was able to secure early raws just for the occasion. Though we are now committed to this series, you shouldn't expect HSDK quite this early again, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Anyone wondering if we might adopt more series after this should lay such speculation to rest: We are now running a triple joint on two weeklies, which is plenty to have on our plate. Our point regarding the self-governing ethics of the scanlation community has already been made. From now on it's all for fun and the love of manga...as it should be.
