Itamaesan (the Quality Checker goddess) is busy at the moment, but she'll be able to assess you as soon as she can get to it. In the meantime, I can help her out by giving you a test where we can evaluate you properly. What you would usually be getting from us if you get the position, though, are translated manga scripts with the associated raws for reference. Here, though, is a test where we can evaluate your basic grammar skills. Fix this by downloading it, opening it via a word processor, proof'ing it there, and then copy and pasting it back here. Chapter 10: Captive Truth
“I can’t Move ”, Naruto thought. He could feel his arms behind his back tied tightly. He looked around his surrounding trying to figure out where he was. Naruto couldn’t see anything all he could tell was he was in a cage in a tent of some sort. He begun to work his hand vigorously trying to escape, but to no avail. He tried to move his legs. Only to find them bound as well. Naruto began to panic he couldn’t remember how he got here. His recent memories were a complete fuzz. He remembered battling those Shinobi that were chasing them, but that was it. He struggled to get his bearings; panic is starting to take hold as he realized his weapon pack attached to his leg was gone. Naruto tried to calm himself as he thought of a way out of this mess.
“What was that?” He thought to himself. His head snapped into the direction of movement in the cage. “There is something in here with me”, he realized. Naruto braced himself for action not knowing what it was. Naruto got his legs under him as quickly as he could ready to head butt what ever was coming his way.
“Come on,” Said Naruto prepared for a fight
“Naruto,” Hinata’s voice came out of the darkness.
When Naruto recognized her voice a flood of memories came rushing back at him. He was relived at the moment he saw that blade run into Hinata’s back. Everything else after that was fuzzy but he got the gist of it.
“Hinata,” whispered Naruto in earnest. “Your alive. I thought you were dead. I though-” Naruto’s voice got caught in his throat as he was choked up with relief. She was alright he didn’t know how but he was glad his teammate and friend was alright.
Hinata couldn’t understand what Naruto was talking about the word “Dead” Rang through her mind over and over playing like a broken record. Hinata tries to get her bearings as well. She could feel Naruto inching toward her. Hinata Remembered the kiss they shared for the first time. She still had no idea how to act around him and grew more nervous as Naruto inched closer. Hinata realized that her Feet were tied. She put two and two together and realized they must have been captured. She remembered that man who had attacked him. Shortly after Hinata remembered feeling groggy she could keep her eyes open as she fell to the ground. Hinata found her thinking about why she had kissed Naruto. He had gone on a rampage. Killing every enemy that had come there way she has never seen this side of him. It scared and excited her at the same time because she knew why he did it.

Nice try, but I still see many more grammatical mistakes...and some of the ones you fixed were not correct. Try one more time and reply back. Then I'll let you know all the mistakes that it had.
Hint Hint: There is something wrong with almost every sentence.

| Lol...I know. I just wanted to see how he would do on it grammar-wise, and then Meg would give him a script to proof. It was just for analysis purposes. =D @General You definitely fixed the errors I wanted you to fix. There were several others (which I had made on purpose for the test's sake) but...for test 1, you got a passing grade in my book  That test was part of a fanfic that I proofed recently. Here are the final changes that were made: - Spoiler:

But you're gonna have to wait for itamaesan regarding test 2. Skimming through it, though...it looks alright.

| hmmm.... I'm not a proofreader or anything, but I still see many mistakes in that. most of them are capitilizing issues, lacking or having a 's' aka pluralization when they shouldn't, also missing a few comma's or periods in my opinion.
Example: “Come on,” Said Naruto prepared for a fight
anytime there is something in quotation marks (") that ends in a comma, the next line after shouldn't be capitilized
this should also be further changed by adding a comma after Naruto, and adding a period at the end of the sentence. this makes the sentence sound smoothing when reading, and is proper English grammar.
also i see a few mistakes missed in the manga script, but nothing too too bad, nothing a little training won't fix =P
(then again, this is coming from someone who doesn't work as a proof reader, so wait for ita's official word xD) |

| capitalization is not an issue when it comes to manga , since most fonts used by ts's are all caps by default and cant be changed |
