I got CS4, but I have a Power processor (G5) so I can't use Topaz...

Any alternatives?

Not really. Maybe you could (and I am still not sure at which extent) replace Topaz Denoise with Noise Ninja, but there is no software that I know that can replace Topaz Clean (which is completely indispensable).

I am afraid to tell you that you only have two options if you wanna become a Muda Staffie: either you learn how to clean in HQ, or you try to be a Typesetter instead. Sorry D:
